London City Lionesses return to play on Sunday [21 April] when they travel coastbound to face high-flying Southampton in the Barclays Women's Championship.

Both sides have plenty to play for, with the Saints desperate for points in the promotion race and Remi Allen's Pride just one point from securing their league status for next season.

London City regroup following the international break with no fresh injury concerns, although Georgia Brougham remains unavailable through suspension.

With that in mind, here is everything you need to know ahead of kick-off.

Opposition Preview:

The Saints' promotion push has faltered in recent weeks, with Mel Reay's side falling to fourth in the standings following defeats to Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland A.F.C.

However, Southampton have taken nine points from their last five matches and remain one of the most dangerous teams in the league, averaging 1.64 goals per game.

The St Mary's Stadium side also benefit from standout goalkeeping, with Kayla Rendell called into Sarina Wiegman's senior England squad in the latest international break.

Katie Wilkinson and Sophia Phoroah lead the team in goals (both with eight) and will hope to combine once again against the Pride.

Previous Meeting:

Lois Joel scored from long-range to sink Southampton on their visit to Princes Park earlier this season, finding the back of the net from the 40-yard mark on 22 October.

Tickets & Broadcast:

Tickets are available to purchase from southamptonfc.com.
