We're delighted to announce the signing of Freya Godfrey on loan from Arsenal.
The highly rated, Essex-born wide player from WSL outfit Arsenal has represented England from U14 level to their U23s. In December 2023 at U19 level, she captained England and lead by example, scoring in all three Algarve Cup games.
The 19-year-old has climbed the ranks at the Gunners since the age of 12 and netted 13 goals in just 18 games in the WSL Academy League with Arsenal.
Getting a taste of senior football, Godfrey has had recent loan spells impressing at Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic.
Dynamic, versatile and creative – Godfrey has all of the attributes to star for the Pride.
