Speaking after the match, Carolina Morace told reporters that the Pride will build on their battling performance at the Epplelton Colliery Welfare Ground.

Carolina, talk us through the game from your perspective...

I think that the draw was good for us because they had more chances, despite us playing good football at times. We have to adapt our game because sometimes we weren't vertical or direct enough.

And a great save from Grace Moloney at the end to keep that point...

That's true, we have Grace because we know that she is a great shot-stopper.

There are lots of new players in the squad, how well do you think they gelled together today?

We have many new players who are trying to implement a new style of play. I'm satisfied, but we would, of course, like to create more chances... we need to develop a better understanding of how to move the ball into the half-spaces.

The Pride, we return to Princes Park on Sunday 3 September – and your support could make the difference as we face Watford in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
