London City Lionesses are delighted to announce that Annie Rossiter has signed an extended
deal with the club ahead of the upcoming 2021/22 season.

Rossiter joined the Pride in it’s inaugural season after coming from Millwall FC in 2019. Despite her young age at only 19, the talented winger proved her capability earning SETL Player of the Match alongside teammate Lucy Fitzgerald in the Women’s FA Cup matchup against the 2020 Barclays WSL Champions, Chelsea FC Women.
She demonstrated her capability and strong work ethic, starting in two crucial games for the Lionesses this past season. The first, was the Pride’s 4-1 win over Leicester City FC Women. She earned another important start in the final match of the 2020/21 FA Women’s Championship season against Liverpool FC Women. Rossiter made a clear impact in the match, as the team showcased an exemplary performance coming back from trailing 2-0 to draw 2-2. She also made a start in Women’s Continental Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur Women.
Speaking on Rossiter’s extended deal, Head Coach Melissa Phillips said, “Annie is such an exciting attacking player who has such skill and fluidity on the ball. She is driven to improve daily and truly starting to come into her own element. We look forward to getting the best out of Annie in the upcoming season and are thrilled she’s returning with London City.”
Rossiter shared her thoughts on the extended deal and said, “I'm looking forward to the start of the season, continuing to develop under Mel and Cori and building on from last season."
